Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction and refurbishment sectors, contributing to the transformation of residential and commercial spaces.

A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites.

Duties
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections to ensure a smooth finish.
• Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to meet project requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including the proper disposal of waste materials.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
• Assist in the selection of colours and finishes based on client preferences or project specifications.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles.
• Strong communication skills in English to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Valid driving licence is advantageous for travel between multiple sites.
• Good colour perception and attention to detail to achieve precise results.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to painting and decorating activities.
