We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital.
This is a key front-line role supporting both the patient experience and the growth of our private healthcare services.
You will be working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and delivering high-quality customer service while supporting operational efficiency.
You will act as a key first point of contact for patients, consultants, GPs and medical secretaries, delivering a professional and conversion-focused service across phone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
Part of the role is to provide tailored advice on consultants, specialties and pricing, proactively guiding patients towards appropriate appointments.
Manage self-pay and PMI patient journeys end-to-end, from enquiry through to booking and follow-up, with a focus on maximising conversions.
You will produce accurate self-pay quotations, confidently discuss options and support price matching where appropriate.
Taking ownership of enquiries and sales leads is important; you will use CRM systems (e.g.
Salesforce) to track, follow up and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.
Booking, amending and optimising appointments to support effective clinic utilisation and minimise unused capacity is part of day-to-day activity.
You will support referral and admission processes, working closely with consultants and medical secretaries to ensure efficient patient pathways, and build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support growth in GP and consultant referrals.
There is an expectation to contribute to KPI tracking, sales performance, and local marketing initiatives to drive service growth.
You may be asked to flex across wider administrative teams as required to support demand and maintain service continuity.
We are looking for a confident, engaging communicator with a strong customer and results-focused approach.
Proven ability to convert enquiries into bookings and proactively follow up opportunities is required, alongside strong organisational, administrative and IT skills with excellent attention to detail.
You should be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and have experience in a customer-facing or target-driven role (healthcare experience desirable).
Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths (or equivalent); NVQ Level 2 in Business & Administration desirable.
Experience using CRM systems, or willingness to learn quickly, is expected.
