Job Summary:
The Warehouse Forklift Operator is a key member of the Corporate Warehouse team responsible for utilizing a forklift for general warehouse operations.
Main Responsibilities:
• Familiarize yourself with the warehouse and production area to ensure efficient time management in completing assigned duties.
• Pull pallets from the palletizer area while following specific requirements, including attaching tickets to pallets, maintaining correct stock rotation, and disposing of partials at the end of each run.
• Feed the line area by ensuring all partial pallets are used first, maintaining can line trays and lids, keeping plastic trays loaded at the denester, and pulling empty pallets from the depalletizer.
• Properly and accurately load/unload materials, including product, raw material, and purchase products as needed.
• Stack individual cases for partial pallet load-out.
• Complete daily checklists of unit and battery changes as designated.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Be available to work varying shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet customer demand.
• Participate in continuous self-improvement through Buffalo Rock provided training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Food Safety Requirements:
Follow Good Manufacturing Program GMPs listed in Code of Federal Regulations CFR 21 section 110 and participate in various Food Safety related training.
Report potential issues related to Food Safety.
