About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Service Inspector to join our team.
As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections at manufacturers' premises to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities
• Conduct factory inspections at manufacturers' premises.
• Develop and implement inspection protocols to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and report any non-compliances or issues identified during inspections.
• Provide training and support to other inspectors as required.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
• Proven track record of ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and process driven.
• Willigness to travel (mainly UK but some international travel expected).
• Full UK Driver's licence.
• Experience of ISO 17020 and certification would be desirable but not essential.
• Experience in auditing against the following schemes: UKCA, CE, IECEE CB, ISO 17020 and/or ISO 9001, would be beneficial.
