We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
This role requires proficiency in various office software and strong communication skills to effectively manage tasks and assist team members.
This position is in a faced paced reactive industry, candidate must be able to prioritise jobs in order of urgency.
It can be quite stop, start at times so must be able to drop a job and pick it up again with ease.
Duties
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, this is key.
• Manage office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing inquiries as necessary.
• Provide clerical support by drafting correspondence and managing email communications.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
• Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred, but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and comfortable with technology.
• Familiarity with Xero/Free Agent is a plus but not essential; training can be provided.
• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
