Position Overview – Administrative & Data Entry Clerk
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Administrative & Data Entry Clerk to join our Sedonia, MO office.
This role is the backbone of our daily office operations, ensuring that information flows accurately, communications are timely, and the front‑desk remains a welcoming point of contact for both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
• Front‑Desk Management: Answer the main phone line, greet visitors, and route inquiries to the appropriate department with professionalism and courtesy.
• Mail & Package Handling: Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail, certified mail, and manage scanning and electronic faxing processes.
• Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately input provider documentation, eligibility information, and other critical data into specialty software systems; maintain organized electronic and paper files.
• Provider Communication: Draft and send email correspondence to providers, follow up on documentation requests, and provide clear guidance on submission requirements.
• Eligibility Processing: Process presumptive eligibility forms and ensure proper indexing for easy retrieval.
• Software Training & Adoption: Participate in onboarding sessions for proprietary data systems; demonstrate rapid learning and apply new skills to daily tasks.
• Ad‑hoc Projects: Support team initiatives such as reporting, data audits, and process improvement activities as assigned by supervisors.
Essential Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED; additional coursework in office administration, business, or related fields is a plus.
• Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience performing general office duties, including phone etiquette, mail handling, and basic data entry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort navigating new software platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information clearly to providers and internal teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail; proven ability to maintain accuracy while processing high volumes of data.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate’s degree or certification in office administration, business management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a staffing, recruitment, or healthcare‑related environment.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Experience using electronic fax and scanning solutions, as well as certified mail preparation.
• Demonstrated ability to train peers on software tools and office procedures.
