Job Description

Administrator/Receptionist

Full-time, Permanent

Aberdeen

Digby Brown has been one of the success stories of the Scottish legal sector in the past decade – we now operate in seven regional areas across Scotland, having tripled in size in the last nine years.

We are the only firm top ranked by Chambers and Legal 500 for personal injury work, which has been the case now for 15 years running.

The Firm has also been voted Scottish Law Firm of the Year in three out of the last six years.

We have developed a reputation as a formidable court firm, focused on quality service for our clients and expertise in our people.

We work in a distinctive way – what we do works and makes a difference in people’s lives.

To support the quality of service we provide to our clients, and our people’s personal development, we have innovated together and built a brand new, cutting edge, digital client case management system.

We have focused on providing modern digital solutions and unique case workflow to our employees and we will continue to adapt this technology in line with our firm values.

Due to ongoing growth within the business, an incredibly exciting opportunity has arisen for a client-focused individual to join the firm as an Administrator/Receptionist in our Aberdeen office.

These high street premises located on Union Street allow us to offer our existing and new clients an environment in which we can provide them with the support they need.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience working in a busy, customer facing, administrative environment.

Welcoming our clients, supporting their needs and ensuring the effective running of the office is crucial and in doing so, you will know that you are doing work that really matters to people.

In addition, as part of the role, the successful candidate will be dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, photocopying and scanning, and liaising with legal staff to carry out tasks, as and when required.

The successful candidate will be an extremely confident individual, with the ability to act on their own initiative, effectively organise time and manage their workload, whilst also having a strong desire to assist others, displaying an empathetic, proactive and welcoming approach in dealing with clients and colleagues.

This role would be suited to an individual that enjoys working independently in a standalone position.

This is a very rare and exciting opportunity to work in a bustling and thriving environment, providing a high-quality customer service to people in need of guidance, support and assistance.
