Counterbalance Forklift Driver/Stores Operative
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay: £13.25 per hour
Hours: Full Time (8am - 5pm), Includes Sunday (1pm - 8pm)

About the Role
Pertemps Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well-established and fast-paced distribution operation.

Duties
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles in a timely manner.

• Order picking and preparing stock for dispatch.

• Ensuring goods are handled and stored correctly within a cold storage facility.

• Weighing goods ready to be packed for customers.

• Updating stock records and completing basic warehouse documentation.

• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance.

• Working as part of a team to meet daily operational target.

Requirements
• Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence.

• Previous experience working within a warehouse or distribution environment.

• Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong understanding of health & safety practices.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
