We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Data Entry Operator to join our team at our Farmington Hills, Michigan office.

Position Overview
As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, you will be an integral part of our claims processing team.
Your primary responsibility will be accurately entering claims and eligibility records into our systems to ensure timely processing and accurate file maintenance.
This role requires exceptional typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Claims Data Entry: Accurately enter claims and eligibility records into our processing systems to ensure timely claims adjudication and updates.
This includes inputting detailed information from various sources while maintaining strict accuracy standards.
• Records Management: Retrieve and reconcile information in files when claims are rejected by the system.
Identify discrepancies and determine the appropriate course of action for resolution.
• Data Quality Control: Evaluate whether inaccurate data should be updated, routed to appropriate departments, or adjudicated according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Optical Scanning Support: Correct and update claim information entered through optical scanning or manual data entry processes, ensuring all records reflect accurate and complete information.
• File Maintenance: Maintain related departmental records and files, ensuring proper organization, confidentiality, and accessibility of all documentation.
• Equipment Operation: Operate various office equipment including personal computers, copiers, fax machines, and other relevant technology to support daily operations.
• Communication: Process telephone and written contacts with proper grammar, punctuation, and professional etiquette when gathering or providing information.
• Quality Assurance: Perform self-review of entered data to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission for processing.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
• Experience: Minimum one year of work experience in an office environment.
• Technical Skills: Ability to enter a minimum of 7,000 keystrokes per hour with 95% accuracy (6,650 correct keystrokes per hour).
• Testing: Successful completion of a data entry test sponsored by Human Resources within the past 12 months.
This test may be waived if the candidate currently holds or has previously held a position that meets this requirement
• Language Skills: Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
