Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Technician to join our team in Brentford.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy goods vehicles and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

This role offers the opportunity to work on both day and night shifts, providing flexibility to suit your lifestyle, and the potential to earn up to £52,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs and other commercial vehicles.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles.
• Perform MOT preparation, adjustments, and necessary repairs to meet compliance.
• Ensure all repairs and servicing are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate service records for each vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Work with the workshop team to ensure smooth operation and efficient vehicle downtime management.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out roadside repairs when necessary.
• Assist with ensuring the workshop area is safe, clean, and organized.
• Provide support for junior technicians and apprentices when required.

Key Requirements:
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician with a solid understanding of heavy goods vehicle maintenance and repair.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) or relevant qualifications.
• Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A valid UK driving license is essential, and an HGV license is advantageous.
• A flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work both day and night shifts.
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
