Our care home in Central New Milton is seeking a reliable and confident Part-Time Cook to join our team.

You will be responsible for independently preparing and cooking meals for 19 residents, ensuring high-quality, nutritious food is delivered every day.

Key Information
• Salary: £14.00 per hour
• Hours: 32 hours per week.

• Working Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

• Shift Times: 8:00am - 4:00pm.

• Location: Central New Milton.

• Environment: Cooking alone in a friendly care home kitchen.

Role Responsibilities
• Prepare, cook, and present meals to an agreed standard for 19 residents.

• Plan and manage daily meal production independently.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.

• Ensure dietary requirements and preferences are followed.

• Manage stock rotation and basic ordering as required.

Required Skills & Experience
• Previous experience working as a Cook or Chef, ideally in a care home or similar environment.

• Ability to work independently and manage a small kitchen.

• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergens.

• Good knowledge of ingredients and basic cooking methods.

• Positive, dependable, and approachable manner.
