Role and Responsibilities of Pharmacy Operations Associate:

Working as a Pharmacy Operations Associate, your main responsibilities include accurately filling customer orders, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and compliant workspace
• Uphold the pharmacy's cleanliness and safety standards by following specified regulations and procedures.
• Handle incoming freight by counting and storing items in specified locations.
• Utilize digital tools for investigating customer orders and data.
• Efficiently handle customer orders by selecting the accurate medication, counting the proper quantity, and labeling vials and packaging correctly.
• Package and load customer orders onto carrier vehicles for efficient transport and delivery.
• Perform comprehensive inventory cycle counts to double-check inventory levels.
• Replenish pharmacy inventory and supplementary materials.
• Assist with medication dispensing tasks in the pharmacy as requested by pharmacists.
• Take part in more special projects and carry out additional tasks as directed.

Required Skills and Experience of Pharmacy Operations Associate:
• Successful candidates must possess a valid Pharmacy Operations Associate Certification Board (PTCB) credential.
• A State Board of Pharmacy license that is up to date is compulsory.
• The minimum acceptable age is 18 for participation.
• Showing the aptitude to uphold a positive mindset in a safety-oriented team environment.
• Taking pride in meticulously fulfilling orders for pet parents with a strong sense of care and commitment.
• Required to have the capability to stand for prolonged periods, walk up to 2 miles per shift, and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds with or without reasonable modifications.
• Careful attention to detail in the accurate completion of pharmacy orders.
• Basic computer skills.
