We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse, to join our friendly and supportive GP practice team, on a long-term locum basis.

Role: Practice Nurse – Clarkston Medical, East Renfrewshire

Hours: 18–20 hours per week initially

Future Opportunities: Potential to increase hours up to 35 per week and possibility of a permanent post after 6 months

Main Duties:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care within a busy primary care setting, including:

Chronic disease management (e.g.

diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension)

Cervical screening

Immunisations and injections

Wound care and dressings

Health promotion and lifestyle advice

NHS health checks

Venepuncture

Supporting preventative care programmes

About You

Applicants should:

Be a registered Nurse with current NMC registration

Have previous experience working within general practice or primary care

Be confident managing chronic disease clinics independently

Have excellent communication and organisational skills

Be flexible, reliable, and patient-focused
