Job Summary
As a Spares Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize our spare parts inventory and distribution network.
This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of supply chain principles and a proven track record in spare parts operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with operational management teams and sales teams to ensure efficient information sharing.
• Support agreed projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion within agreed timescales while maintaining high levels of support for ROSD & RM's.
• Represent Spares within ROSD's regions, providing timely updates on business performance versus KPIs, and offering necessary support to Spares managers.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to drive performance through branches.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop Company unique selling propositions and differentiators, landing new Spares initiatives with existing and new customers.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the merchanting sector.
• A strong background in customer service environments, demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Market experience, ability to transfer skills to the Spare Parts market, and a proven track record in Key Account and Sales Management.
• Strong influencing and negotiation ability, adaptable leadership style, and deep understanding of internal and external customer relationships and business processes.
