About the Role

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles.

Success in this role means efficiently troubleshooting mechanical issues, delivering high-quality repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of vehicles

✅ Perform routine maintenance, including servicing, brake replacements, and timing belt/cam belt replacements

✅ Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate assessments

✅ Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and implement effective solutions

✅ Ensure all repairs and services meet safety and quality standards

✅ Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all health and safety regulations

✅ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency

Qualifications & Skills

🔹 Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician

🔹 Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems

🔹 Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair manuals effectively

🔹 NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification) preferred

🔹 Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential)

🔹 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

🔹 Strong communication and teamwork abilities
