Bricklayers
Experienced bricklayers near me for residential and commercial projects. Own tools essential.
Carpenters
Carpentry roles including first fix, second fix, and formwork. NVQ/City & Guilds qualified.
Groundworkers
Foundations, drainage, concrete services, paving. Experience with excavator operation a plus.
Electricians
Electrical contractor roles for commercial and residential projects. 18th Edition required.
Plumbers
First and second fix plumbing, heating installation, bathroom fitting. Gas Safe advantageous.
Painters & Decorators
Interior and exterior painting, preparation work, finishing. Attention to detail essential.
Site Cleaners
End of project cleaning, ongoing maintenance. Experience with construction site cleaning.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned construction or general labour tasks to required quality standards
- Work safely following site-specific health and safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, general contractors, and trade teams
- Handle materials, tools, and equipment responsibly with proper care and storage
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout shift and at day end
- Report any safety hazards, defects, or concerns immediately to site management
- Complete timely, accurate timesheets and maintain good attendance records
- Adapt to changing site conditions and accept direction from supervisors positively
Essential Requirements
✓ Qualifications & Experience
- Previous construction or labour experience (preferred but not essential for labourer roles)
- Valid CSCS card (Green/Blue minimum) – we can assist with applications
- Trade-specific qualifications where applicable (NVQ, City & Guilds)
- Health and safety awareness and site induction completion
✓ Skills & Attributes
- Reliable, punctual attendance with strong work ethic
- Physical fitness for manual handling and outdoor work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
✓ Legal & Compliance
- Valid UK right to work documentation (passport/share code)
- Proof of address and two forms of photographic ID
- Checkable employment references covering last 3 years
- Own PPE (hard hat, high-vis, safety boots) – or provided
