As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. You’ll oversee all aspects of site operations including health and safety compliance, quality control, resource management, and project reporting.

This temporary position offers competitive compensation well above market rates and the potential for contract extension based on project requirements and performance. We’re looking for someone who can start immediately and hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities and coordinate work schedules
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain quality standards
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders
• Manage site budgets, resources, and materials efficiently
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
• Resolve on-site issues and implement problem-solving solutions
• Maintain accurate site documentation and project records
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and construction planners
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements & Qualifications

• CSCS Card: Valid CSCS Manager/Supervisor card (Black or Gold)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction site management
• Health & Safety: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• First Aid: First Aid at Work certificate (desirable)
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage and motivate site teams
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• IT Skills: Proficient in construction management software and MS Office
• Qualifications: HNC/HND or degree in Construction Management (preferred)
• Availability: Able to start immediately with flexible working hours
